TriPollar works by inducing heat generation in the dermis and Hypodermis due to the tissue’s resistance to the RF high frequency electrical current. TriPollar RF treatment is not affected by skin color (as apposed to IR radiation anti aging discussed in this blog). TriPollar RF induces heat generation from the deeper layers of the skin, dermis and hypodermis; therefore the epidermis is not affected and does not require skin cooling during the treatment.
